A 12ft Outdoor Covered Classroom Takes Your Child’s Learning Outside

Attached to your child’s classroom, the Discovery Deck sparks imaginations with exciting science experiments and hands-on projects. With a waterproof shelter, your child gets out in the fresh air to hypothesize and analyze whatever the weather.

A Support Garden Helps Your Child Reach Goals

Your child ventures into a support garden one hour weekly to help them reach their goals, receive additional support, and succeed academically. Gardening helps your little one improve their social interactions, communication, engagement, and focus. Here’s how the program works:
  • The garden provides a quiet, visual workspace away from high-traffic areas and distractions.
  • Your child pairs up with either a peer or Marcus, the onsite horticulturalist, who can model social interactions & assist with communication skills.
  • Breaks allow opportunities for sensory input.
  • Your child engages in a visual schedule & social stories to help them prepare for & understand the expectations of the garden.
  • Marcus gives your little gardener individualized instruction and support as he monitors progress, makes necessary adjustments, & observes and documents your child’s engagement, social interactions, & communication during gardening activities.
  • As your child participates in this fun learning experience, Marcus reviews their progress regularly to ensure the program meets their needs and is helping them progress toward their goals.

Mi Casa is a wonderful day care center. It is organized and the staff is very friendly. The Director and teachers are wonderful. My daughter absolutely loves it here. She has the normal tiffs with fellow 4-year-olds; honestly, kids will do what kids do, but they always call and let me know even if it’s a small concern. They are friendly and willing to work with you as long as you communicate with the office staff. My daughter has been with Mi Casa since she was 2 and has been at Cinnamon Creek for about 7 months.
